Do any of you use this for internet sharing?

How easy is it really, it all sounds a bit good to be true. Is it really that easy to set up? Also what's the distance like, would I be able to take it through a wall and a ceiling, about 4m as the crow flies?

Thanks

I did a project on it at uni, it all depends on the unit transmitting, but we found the average mobile phone transmits around 10-15 meters.

but as for PC's I have no idea.

Hmm, deja vu. Remember: Wi-fi is better.

Bluetooth is slow[er], and has a limited range compared to Wi-Fi, or Wireless-Fidelity.

Bluetooth was really designed to create the wireless desktop, hence PC's coming with 8 USB ports as default- but as the products were too expensive etc it never really took off.

All it's used for nowadays is synching phone contacts, pretty much anyways.
