Do any of you use this for internet sharing?

How easy is it really, it all sounds a bit good to be true. Is it really that easy to set up? Also what's the distance like, would I be able to take it through a wall and a ceiling, about 4m as the crow flies?

Thanks

This is impossible...grrr.

I have got as far as getting the two machines to read eachother. What I then don't understand is how to share the internet connection?!

I have the wireless connection and apparently the connection is 'very good', I just can' now share the internet connection. Grrr

A pro? Then you've probably gone through Internet Conection Sharing, which does exactly what it says on the (software) tin. If you were to try Blutooth, you'd need to buy a separate dongle, and then the appropriate b2th compatible devices for it to be an effective network. That's why, for the purpose of linking 2 PCs together, Wi-fi is more appropriate than Bluey.

Well, I tried for 2 hours with a pro setting up a connection between my Belkin 802.11g card and my built in laptop wireless card, and it didn't work. We got a connection, but then we couldn't get the net working, any ideas appreciated.

But because it won't work I want to try Bluetooth....if I know it'll work.

Card adaptors, usually installed in a vacant PCI slot. You probably have one in your laptop, you just need one for your PC. It's very easy to set up.

Have you forgotten everything said yesterday? Or, maybe you're a different Lil Bro? Hmmm.

Ok.

What form do WiFi's come in? Are they USB like Bluetooth? How easy are they to set up?
