Now why couldn't England have done that in Euro 2004? That is how you defend a lead, you don't set up camp in your own 6 yard box you do what they did tonight, knock it about the park and attack when you have the chance.

Wright-Phillips looked very promising after he stopped doing his Heskey impression of slipping over on his ass each time he touched the ball and Beckham seems to have gotten over his bout of tiredness that he had in Euro 2004. Nice to see him track back instead of walking around the pitch like the fat bloater on a sunday morning. Best he has looked for quite a while in an England shirt.

Apparently he was in a restaurant when he got up to go to the toilet, he brushed past a Argentine waiter and tumbled over hitting his ankle on a chair and injuring himself for a few days :-D
