So....most disturbing scene in any movie???

That was easily possible, even then, especially seeing as it was in the middle of a bridge, no ruined buildings on there.

The Americans assaulted Omaha and Utah, and the Brits and Canadians assaulted Gold, Juno and Sword.
The Americans took the heaviest casulties though.
Although I have to say, Kelly's Hero's is the most realistic war film I've ever seen.

Still, they didn't bump into too many other allies, odd considering that the US didn’t even account for half the allied forces at the D-Day landings and that there was plentiful amount of British paratroopers, Australians, Swedes, Poles and so on. But then Saving Private Ryan was a war film, not a historical biopic.
It could of done without the sarcastic Spielberg directing though, a sniper who can shoot someone in the eye through his own sniper scope?? A Tank that gets blow up metres away from Forest Gump from an airplane travelling at high speeds and crap visibility (I doubt it'd be easy to spot a tank in the middle of a ruined cityscape.)
For true War movie grossness, try Black Hawk Down. The scene where one trooper has to be operated on with no anaesthetic, and a particularly cringe worthy bit where the doctor has to open up the wound, put is hand inside and pull out a tendon to clamp. Eek.
No disturbing scenes in that, except possibly when he cuts the skin on his arm off.

Oooh, I shudder every time I think of that bit.
Mr Blonde torturing the cop in Reservoir DOgs is a little bit disturbing too.

It was accurate anyway.
Americans and Canadians assaulted two of the Normandy Beaches with very few Brits for company.
