A member has to dig up other member's embarassing posts and the most embarassing post wins the EGAD.

In this competition members have to be very imaginative and make up a game all by themselves using only the power of their brains! All members should include these in there entries:
1.Storyline
2.Characters
3.Controls
4.Items, Weapons and Upgrades etc.
5.Extra Features
6.Design for front and back covers
7.Name of game and the game format
The best entry wins Gameaday and wins the game of their choise.The Winner will be picked each week and their entry can be viewed in a Hall of Fame for all other members to see and admire!
The original Gameaday competition only showed a member's use of language, but in this competition, members won't only show their use of language but they will also show their use of imagination. Simple really, design the ultimate entertainment room. The room may include:
- Games Consoles/PC's
- Sound Systems
- Widescreen TV's/Projectors
- DVD Players
- Music Instruments
- And more....
How you want to design it is up to you, using 3D illustrations, 2D designs of top, left, right etc. You can use any software you want aswell, for example:
- Photoshop
- Paintshop
- MS Paint
- Flash
- Studio Max
- And even by hand
The winner will be judged on:
- The quality of the design
- Ideas
- Room layout
- Living conditions (The room must not be cramped to fit everything in. It wants to be bright and relaxing and not dull and dingy etc etc)

Haven't read many so far but i like ST's, i'd quite like there to be a S.O. type profile thing where people can also write comments about you, it might put an end to the Pop Con though.
design a new forum for the site, soemthing all the users can use, a hang out, were they can talk aobut stuff like what happend in thier day and stuff like that
how about, you sell normally for a month, then each user guesstimates = mad eup word for guess and estimate, the amount of cash you made

EGAD: Tonty The missing years
The basic out line for this EGAD is a short news report/story writing contest:
Outline:
"In 2001/2002 Tonty was the one of the most prolific Ukgames Forum posters in the world until his mysterious disappearance. The staffy with unlimited dedication to his fledgling chat board, suddenly vanishes. Did KR have him removed as he was threatening his post count? Did Snuggly kill him in a power coup? Did Crackhead lock him in his basement? All questions of "Oi snuggly/loki/Berads "what have you done with Tony?" are ignored. And Tony only posts once in several years to mysterious purge GAD of its former '3 prize glory'. The simple folk of the UKchatforums thought this was it, tony gone for ever, until yet again Tony shocks us with his mysterious reappearance for seemingly no reason, with out explanation about a week ago. Suspicious?......
An EGAD will be awarded for the best Report/short story which resolves the following issues:
1. What events led up to tony's mysterious disappearance?
2. What has Tony been up to for the last 2 years?
3. Is Tony suffering from Harold Bishop syndrome? (mysterious disappearance and reappearance, and random activity)
4. What are reasons for Tony's return?
5. What does the future hold for Tonty's posting? Another mysterious disappearance or an epic battle against his captors?
Anything resembling the truth will be disqualified, imaginative entries only, extreme sucking up will also be disqualified, however moderate to heavy sucking up maybe tolerated, Evidence leading to the finding of Tonty's abductors (ahem Snuggly et al) maybe rewarded with an EGAD, Anything you post maybe used as evidence against you.

SR Olympics
I reckon you should impose a gad drought at some point. Work out the cost of a game to you from suppliers, The mean cost of the average game to you which you give away. Then work out the cost of a console or even a next gen ps3/Xbox2/GC2 (closer to the time perhaps) and just cut the flow of free games for a couple of weeks till you hit the required value (or if they still exist use unclaimed GAD value).
During this 2 week period you invent an SR olympics. Basically you compile a huge list of Things to do and then you set a points total for the best entry in each category.
You could think up loads of random things like:
Field Events
Get your photo taken outside the most SR stores- with completion bonus of extra points.
Get a photo of your SR mag with a celebrity/Photo in a random place- spawning really desperate efforts as people struggle to get members of one true voice to agree.
SR Magazine construction test- Build the most impressive thing you can out of an SR mag and some glue.
Track events
Design an SR logo
New Slogan
Indoor Arena events
Use yahoo games or something and hold a big showdown on something completely random.
Joke/Short story
Anyway these are just some random ideas i could think up in a few minutes, but i'm sure you get the jist. Make an ultimate EGAD. Make one of these funny pink threads and set it so it will only allow one post from each unique user so it won't get spammed up and is easy to see the merits of each entry. Then people can edit their post and add links as they complete different challenges. Once the prize fund has been raised out of GADs their could be a fairly lengthy deadline to complete all the challengers. Some i have named are probably a bit over involving but i am sure with a bit of though you could think up some cool challenges which are open to most of us and take a reasonable amount of time to complete as a whole. Then just pick the best posted entry as SR champion and then you even have a nice little article amount your huge wacky Console giveaway to write about in a 4 page spread in your magazine. As you show things like the top 5 cool photo's of the mag with somebody or in a stupid place. The Artistic kids sculpture of the Eiffel tower, andsome other random banter and productivity for you lot.
