Don't do it.

You'll end up with a big toe nail split completely down the middle squirting blood, like me. I type this with an ice pack over my foot.

It doesn't hurt like hell, but you could certainly do without it.

Barefoot tennis is the worst, especially in weather like this when you can't physically touch the tarmac, and putting on shoes blisters your feet. Want my advice kids? Well, you're getting it anyway. Sell all your sports gear and buy an Xbox and Xbox Live - much safer, and for most people is less sweaty.

Bare foot football on the beach is worse...the friction...

Barefoot football hasn't done much damage to me, it being something I used to partake in regularly as a summer sport. It conditions your feet up, and the only bad things to ever come out of it (For me) were stepping on a wasp, which was very inconvenient, and getting an infected toe after a cut got mucked up.

Same happened to my toenail yesterday, only mine split near the bottom.

did u not realise that football barefoot might pose some injury?
