"Starfox: Assault... a let down?"

Seems like the crew at IGN.com really aren't taking to the game. Which is a massive shame as I was really looking forward to it:

I think Nintendo probably made a mistake giving the Starfox game to namco. They're not exactly renowned for anything other than arcade games, and were never really going to produce a graphically impressive or deep game.

It's only a Nintendo licence it not like it matters.

Lol, Starfox Adventures is utterly utterly terrible.

I'm sure Assault is better than that.

I couldn't even play Starfox Adventures through once.

I bought it and returned it 4 days later, once of the dullest games I bought for my Cube. It looked beautiful but played like a rancid leper hoe.

There was nothing wrong with Starfox adventures, it was just different, but still a good game. I played it many times over and enjoyed it each time.
Even though Assault isnt what everyone is expecting, it'll still be kick ass. There cant be a crap starfox, it isnt possible.

STarfox Adventures really was abysmal.

Trouble is, until you play it yourself you'll never really know. Its like reading a bad review of a film then seeing it for yourself and finding it utterly brilliant!
