It's a simple choice this time, who do you want as the next president of the U.S.A. ?
For those not familiar with the format, you make your choice and it's put beside your name, the votes will be counted up at a later date, 5 spaces have been left for those that want to vote but aren't on the list.
Bush or Kerry ?

That's probably why Kyoto was a worldwide treaty, and not just one that was gonna be applied to America...

Sure in the long run it's better, but unless someone amends the constitution to give a President an equally long run then it's unlikely to happen.

Environment wise, there needs to be gigantic changes made, not just in the US, but around the world.

Actually, American Scientists worked out that Kyoto was considerably better for the US economy in the long run.
But they were academic scientists rather than corporate researchers so they get ignored by government.

That's the problem.
Because of the powerplay nature of politics, governments tend to concentrate on what's best to their immediate personal interests rather than looking at what's best for the country as a whole in the long run.

Anysway, Bush has done bad.
I'd personally give Kerry a go, but I'm not expecting miracles.

No pressure Mr Presi! ;-)

Heheheheheheheh. Ahh, it's nice to see some things haven't changed...you've already whined once about my "going off topic". Yet miraculously, it's totally different when you do the same. Bell in "Wailing Hypocrite" shocker...

Oh, and the snide comments haven't been stopped because you lack the wit to stop them. Shame for you really, innit?

Actually, if you bothered to read, Flockhart said he didn't mind people talking about the President/Kerry... not that that has ever stopped your snide comments.

Yep, good old Liberal Democrat Ideals. They're certainly consistent - "we're the opposite of whatever Labour/Conservatives say".

Plus the hilarity that was their last convention. With terrorism, economic uncertainty, law and order, and many other things at the top of other parties agendas, what was one of the Liberal Democrats new policy ideas? Only to lower the age of "adult" (basically porn) artists and entertainers to 16 from 18. Go Kennedy...

for those that fancy a bit of a chuckle, there's a video of an inebriated Dubya talking even more crap than usual available on this link (about half way down the page):

http://www.orsm.net - warning, don't click if yer at work, it's kinda a "dodgy" site, but there's some quality jokes on there as well :) )
