Its nearly that time again! The season for us lot kicks off next weekend, after, for me, what seemed like a long summer, and i for one cant wait for the season to start.
As always, i have my season ticket and im pretty confident of what The Owls can achieve this season, im just hoping this season can be the one where the rot stops, and we gain promotion. We have a whole new team almost. We released 15 players last season, and signed 11 this, including ex Southampton captain Chrissy Marsden, and then a squad of good young players who all look the part to go with him
We have 2 friendlies left against the Bolton and Everton, and in our previous friendlies we have looked good.
I know there are a number of you lot who support teams in the lower leagues, so lets not let this forum be over run by Premiership talk and such. After all, our clubs are just as important as the bigger clubs.
So what are your hopes and fears for the new season? Who you looking forward to playing the most?
Up the Owls!!

The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!! The Owls are goin' up!!!
Mcgovern looked lively, cracked the bar and Quinn had a decent game too.
Slender lead for the 2nd game but hopefully Weds can sneak a goal at Griffin Park and kill the tie.

I had it on in the background and heard my local team, Hucknall Town, mentioned and one of the commentators say that he lived near there or something.
T'was the highlight.

I hope so. I just want to see my RObins homeboys annihilate the Woke next season at Moss Lane.
Hehe, good match. Nice to take first blood and go into the 2nd leg one up.
Hope you all watched. :)
I want at least one decent match for our boys next season!!!
> Come on you Bees.
Boooooo!
Big game tonight, Im nervous, but all in all, 10 months ago when we were 14th in the League with Turner we thought we were going down again. For Sturrock to take us to the Playoffs is nothing short of amazing. I believe we will do it tonight and next tuesday, but if we dont, i know next season we will go up no matter what.
As for Altrincham mattribute, my mate has a soft spot for them and has got the rest of us interested. He actually played in goal for them for a game and was the Robin (whatever its called) Mascot for a game. :) Be good to see them go up too.
Up The Owls!
