What does everyone think of this? Sometimes it's really good and has decent reviews and holds my interest. But sometimes it frankly sucks. Like when they review something boring or have a dull face off. I usually only watch it for the g-team and console kitchen.

we need a show thats sort of like the top gear of the gaming world. Shown in a prime time spot with knowledgeble(sp?) presenters. That would be great.
Gamesville wouldn’t be that bad if the people who made the programme actually concentrated on the gaming rather than trying to look cool by dumping in two presenters who clearly know nothing about gaming. Adding a stoned drug addict as a cheats Guru wasn’t a very smart move either.
The people who are left to review games, I.e. those old enough to understand and rate games on their content rather than just their aesthetics can actually be quite good at reviewing. One gamer reviewed a Star Trek game on the Pc and made a very good effort explaining how average it was despite having a good, if a little dated graphics engine.
His opinions however where quashed by the overwhelming stupidity of the two “think as a plank of wood” presenters who ignored what the reviewer just said and rated the game with the converted 4 G’s because it graphics where, you know, well good.
Other shows are no better. Gamepad is deeply annoying, about 6 months out of date it still repeats shows that preview games that where released a month or two back, and Violet Berlin is an irritating presenter, annoying voice and stupendously annoying ‘jokes’. Gamer TV is better, though the presenter who narrates doesn’t sound like he’s much of a gamer, no passion whatsoever. And Cybernet, once quite a decent show, now it’s pretty guff. An annoying voice guy who sounds like the over active Yank from “the planets funniest animals” with the least trustworthy reviews in any TV programme.

Adult presenters, interesting challenges, a wicked sense of humour, and most importantly the show was not geared up to purely kids tv. Remember, back then gaming was nowhere near as popular, if you were into games as a kid back then you were in a small minority.

Gamepad 3/2/1 isn't all that great either, because it's just loads of boring video clips with Violet berlin (who in the world thought that people would like to listen to her voice or see her face on television?) talking aimlessly, and with difficulty, over the top.

I agree with the GamerTv comment, but I frankly find gamepad a bit annoying, that woman presenter doesn't know the half about games.
