Has anyone here taken a trip down memory lane, blown the dust off your N64 and rammed a seemingly huge cartridge in their ancient console?
I know i have!
Conker,Banjo and zelda are the best games i've ever played, but are all made by RARE!
Now with the release of Conker:Live and Reloaded approaching, the anger at Microsoft stealing Rare is just... Arrgh!
Why!

But thats what people are sick of hearing. How long do people have to keep waiting?

It looked like an adult version of Pokemon last time I saw it.

Can't say it's really looking that promising, but I'll give it a chance.

I dunno. I don't really like the look of it, but if I wiped StarFox and Grabbed from my memory then I'm sure it'd look a lot better. It's not like Rare can't make decent platformers (I know Kameo isn't a platformer as such, but it sure looks like it has the signs of one), along with Nintendo they're unsurpassed it that field.

I'm gonna give it a try (as long as reviews aren't too bad), but there's always a chance it could be great.

As Microsoft have said.

They didn't buy Rare for what they think they can do now, they bought them for what they can do for Microsoft in the next 5 or 10 years.

Anyway, it's clear from the way Rare have spoken and what Ken Lobb has said that there's plenty Rare are doing that hasn't even been announced and won't be for quite some time.

I expect to hear more about it at E3 as I expect most of Rare's main projects to be for Xbox Next. Perfect Dark 2 for launch? I'd say it's a distinct possibility from the hints that have been dropped.

No.

I don't think that Rare have much talent left anymore. A lot of it left with Doak and joined Free Radical. Also some of their talent came directly from Nintendo itself, so they don't have that anymore. PLus the fact that they seem to take a long time to get to grips with new hardware that they're not used to.

Do you think Rare might make a "comeback" on the ds, with banjo ds, or something...

No because Rare had been with Ninty for a long time, unlike Retro.
