...on Smackdown! This was rumoured a few months back as he was having dark matches and working velocity, but will now definetly happen before the end of next month. Nova will be working under his real name 'Mike Bucci' and has been given a new gimmick, that of an over-zealous fitness instructor (erm, nice one Vince...) and he's been getting a good reaction to this somewhat off-beat character at house shows. Mike may be pushed into the cruiserweight division to begin with.
For thos of you who don't know Nova, when he worked in ECW he was seen as an innovator who came up with new and impressive moves almost every week, but in some regards he looked sloppy as he hadn't mastered basics such as making his punches look real. This could be the reason he's been stuck in OVW for so long, it will be interesting to see a guy come out of OVW who I have seen work previously to see if OVW really has any worth in improving a worker as most guys who come out of there seem green...

Now that could be gimmick gold! Haas could go singles and get himself a whole entouragé of freaks, starting with Rico and Nova, much like Simon Diamond had in his early ECW matches...
