"It Began in Afrika-ka-ka-ka..."

Cong Man's music hits, to a surprisingly large pop, considering his recent heel-like behaviour and upcoming match against huge fan favourite, the Cong_Woman. Cong rolls under the bottom rope, he's not dressed to wrestle and is carrying a microphone, so I guess he's going to be cutting a promo.

"You know, the hardest thing in wrestling, isn't mastering a new submission hold, or top-rope manuever, it's deciding how on earth to open yet another promo" The crowd laugh, as Cong instantly gets them in the palm of his hand, without the need for tacky catchphrases...

"Anyway, I'll cut straight to the chase, I've just come from a meeting with the creative team and they've heard what the fans and even the boys in the back have been saying. That SRW has gone stale" The fans boo loudly, even though they know he's right...

"Well, the one thing Cong_Man didn't come here for is to wrestle for a stale promotion, because this means the guys in the back are getting stale and won't be putting on great matches with the Cong_Man!" Cheap pop from the crowd.

"So, the guys from creative wanted my input on how we're going to shake things up around here and I told them 'Guys, it's simple, hand over booking duties to me for one night, one night only and I'll put on a tournament which will wake a few guys up and make us get noticed again' and you know what? They agreed with me."

"So, I've been looking around, seeing what's going on and in my opinion, SRW has gone stale because it's become tame. So, at a date which I will announce soon, I'm going to be organising SRW's first annual 'Death-match Tournament' to crown the true king of the death-match here in SRW and for those fans who don't know, in a death-match anything and everything is legal."

"So what are you fans going to see? There will be four first round matches, which will involve light-tubes, barbed wire, razor wire, trash cans, staple guns, panes of glass, basically this will be the most violent, bloody night SRW has ever seen and at the end of the night, one man will stand atop SRW as the most violent, sadistic competitor this sport has ever seen"

Massive cheers by the crowd, who are evidently a bunch of sick, blood-lusting, freaks...

"So this means, I'm looking for 8 good men to enter into this tournament, no in fact, scratch that, I'm looking for 7 as I'm entering myself right here, right now!"

With that and with the fans cheering wildy, Cong_Man makes his exit from the ring, but he pauses at the top of the ramp. "So, this is my challenge to the rest of the locker-room...who has the inestinal fortitude to re-invigorate SRW? I'll see you fans soon, when I'll be announcing the first round brackets and stipulations...

So, as my CAW has said, who's up for this? All the matches in the tournament will be written by myself, so this doesn't mean any extra work for any of you guys.

If you would like to enter, simply post your most up-to-date CAW profile below and when I have seven more entrants I'll start work on this.

Yeah, i changed my CAW profile too, not that it matters anyway as im not entering the tournament, but it still needs updating at some point for future matches.

I'll be announcing the brackets tomorrow and the stipulations shortly after. The first round stipulations will be chosen from the following:-

A Fans Bring The Weapons Match
A Ladders and Light-tubes match
An 'Unlucky 13' Staple-Gun match
and
A Razor Wire ropes match

The following rounds will see

A 2 out of 3 Light-tube log cabins match
A Flaming Barbed wire tables match
and
A No-Rope, barbed wire and light-tubes match, with buckets of salt.

Grandprix or Lipe you will need to look on the topic Figo made again as my profile has been updated and is different from that.

I'll make Jonny Hammer enter as his speciality is Hardcore and this could set him on a path, also he is no. 1 contender for the Hardcore title so that'll help him.

I'll need to do a promo for it won't I? If so I'll do it a lil bit later.

Don't worry about it Congy. Only myself, Ant and Lipe knew about the site so there was no way you could know.

Aah, good point GP, shows how long it is since I've been really involved in SRW. GP is added to the first round brackets, 6 more entrants needed.

Yeah I suppose some of the feuds could be settled in that, most notably the Reaver, Anarchy feud.
