man utds website says dear old nicholas has had a fee agreed with newcastle. 2.5 million! thats a bit of a bargain. I though he was cheap at 4mill! Newcastle have landed themselves a player they have desperately needed for quite some time. I was hoping he'd go to one of my pet teams.

What? When I have ever said anything to you? Who the hell are you, for that matter? Away with you.

Never said anything about Robert's shot. He has a mighty shot, and I remember it against us in the F.A. Cup last season. But he's not got much else. So no, I wouldn't want him at Liverpool with Kewell and Murphy as the wide players. But Dyer is a great player - on his day. But he's got to be the most inconsistent player in the entire Premiership. Stunning one day, absolutely dire the next. So he'd probably struggle in the new Liverpool team.

Ha. Ashley might've been right. Don't tell me that there is no power in Robert's shot. And don't even try and say Steviebaby's shot is harder than robert's. He scores stunning goals, and his set pieces are very good.

I wanted us to sign Bowyer a few years ago. We needed someone who was going to fight for the ball and the club after Wisey left :(, and he is the perfect person for it. However we now have super Frank, so the thug can stay at Noocastle if he so wishes.

Kieron Dyer is a quality player.

You know liverpool would like Robert and Dyer....

There'll be a big gap between the top 4 and everyone else this season, methinks.

They won't be close, this signing and kluivert just means they won't colapse next season and have an outside chance of getting 4th place. Maybe if they are lucky.

Newcastle - "Pretty close"? Of course, the menace of Robert and Ambrose scares all, while the might of Brmable and O'Brien at the back makes all forwards quail. Add the gentlemanly Lee Bowyer and the consistent Kieron Dyer and they could make a bid for 6th. Maybe.

I can't believe he's going...

I still wonder how on Earth we're going to cope when Roy Keane finally decides to call it a day. I've heard about Miller, but never actually seen him play. Yes, he's young - but, still lacking the level of experience needed to succeed our captain on a permanent basis.

After that, I guess we're only left with Eric Djemba-Djemba and... Phil Neville, for the rest of the season! :S :'(

According to Ceefax (page 314), The Sun [Who else would?!] reckon Ferguson's after Rui Costa on a season-long loan deal from AC Milan... Yeah, frickin' right!! :P

Newcastle have made another fine deal for the summer, though. Surely, he's got to establish himself as a regular in their side, now Gary Speed has gone. And, with Kluivert adding to the attack, surely, they've got to be very close now?

Perhaps, they only need a new defender now, though?

Anyway, let's just hope Keano stays fully-fit for the first 2 months of the season. We'll already be without Heinze and Ronaldo for the first month, Solskjaer's career is "hanging on the line", and Rio Ferdinand won't be back 'til September...! :S
