er i'm not going to defend eidur here! if i could only have one striker out of the two. at a normal club (not chelsea) i'd have owen.

Testify ma brotha! ;)
Right, Eidur was your first choice. Yet on fantasy football, if you look closely, it has points scoring last season. This includes both assists and goals. Eidur had 63, a staggeringly poor total ;) Mikeybaby had 137 - comfortably double the score of your Blondebaby.
This argument, is working in the favour of our Lampard argument. He carried us half of the time. If he wasn't scoring, he was setting them up. And if he wasn't doing that, he was just driving us forward.
Our strikers, except for Eidur, were poor last year. They were all rotated and so never got a chance to get into a rhythm. Crappo scored 12, which wasn't bad. Admittedly 4 were off his face, and one of his nipple :).
But Eidur scored some class goals.
Oh, sorry, I forgot. One did. But he was in Birmingham.

You defy logic again, as we were talking just about last premiership season were we not. Owen missing a shot doesn't count as an assist by the way... :P

Smoke is pouring from my ears in disbelief. It is incredulous smoke.

His game isn't all about scoring, he sets up so many goals.

But by this logic, Mikeybaby had a barmstorming Euro 2004, seeing as he set up more goals than any other England player :)
