When you get there, the League name is 'SR Sports Champions', and the password for entering the League is '7028-1893'.
Get your team sorted, and join this League, because it's going to be HOOGE!
...it's just a shame that none of you are going to beat me to it ;)
In reply to 'The Don' obviously.
Ashley gave very good advice actually. I dumped my injured striker and bought Freedman but that gave me the chance to buy Terry for my defence who I'd wanted originally :D
Let me know how the team pans out!

I think Van Der Sar scored most of points last season against arsenal/man utd just through the sheer amount of saves he had to make.

I'd not do that, you've given me good advice :)
I will get rid of Keane, buy a cheap forward and shore up my defense. I'd not get rid of Given as he gives me a strong option for swopping him in when Van Der Sar is facing the likes of Man Utd.
Not ready to get rid of Stead yet mainly because I have a soft spot for him but also 'cos I think he will do well. I can always transfer him out if he doesn't live up to expectations.
Thanks for all your input. It really was appreciated.
i was thinking charlton powell
to continue but with my charlton powell bit editted. By cutting th e over priced reserve Given (goalies don't get injured that much unless you are kirkland) and even if he does you could have Juskalinen who scored similarly as back up. that plus the 0.5 mill left over would give you 2 mill to play with.
Allowing you a 5 mill defender. Gives you players like Matteo, Knight, stefanovic, jihai and the likes who are far more established players
You asked for some suggestions regarding keane, here's what i think!
Feel free to ignore me!
Your midfield and goalkeeper are excellent! not many better i have seen. Think defence is a weakness and maybe your forwards are a little underambitious considering the cost of your reserves
anyway i'd lose keane get a cheapo striker who will play a lot, like Freedman who have good records in the lower leagues and no competition really for their place. That will save you 4 mill. you can only have two strikers on at once and if something horribly wrong you can sub your main striker. you can always transfer him. Losing Keane will save you 4million.
which you can do so much with.
stead could be changed forsell. (forsell is only 9.5 and he has a far stronger team behind him than last season when he was one of the top scorers) (thats 2 mill gone)that leaves you with 2 mill to fritter.
you could then either upgrade phillips (though phillips and forssell would be respectable) or work on your defence. Charlton looks like a recipe for disaster to me. Doesn't do much, will get his appearance points but will concede a lot as he is at probably the weakest club in the league (despite them winning div one) the defence is suspect and unlikely to hold against testing strikers. An extra 1.5 mill gets you mellberg, who will be at a high flying club and playing every game with a bit of goal potential. (0.5 mill left).
Anyway sorry for rambling but those are my thoughts! feel free to pick and choose, but i think the OTT value of your reserves is a very valid point.
Van der Sar 5.5
Given 6.0
Hyypia 7.5
Charlton 4.0
Powell 3.0
Hreidarsson 5.5
Green 4.0
Lampard 10.0
Gerrard 9.5
Barry 7.0
Wright-Phillips 7.5
Lazaridis 5.5
Phillips 8.5
Stead 7.5
Keane 9.0
Definitely adds up to 100.00
Keane is my second sub but out until September. Phillips and Stead are my strikers.
Do I get rid of Keane now or take a chance and keep him on the subs bench?
Ideally I would like to keep him so should I just let sleeping dogs lie?
