I've made a League for us all to join: You can find it if you http://fantasy.premierleague.com/, although some of you may need to sign-up and Register.

When you get there, the League name is 'SR Sports Champions', and the password for entering the League is '7028-1893'.

Get your team sorted, and join this League, because it's going to be HOOGE!

...it's just a shame that none of you are going to beat me to it ;)

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've gradually dropped from about 2 points behind first in 2nd place to a fair amount behind in about 6th in the space of a couple of weeks.

Gah.

It seems I've somehow slipped into the bottom three, on goal difference (or something), of course.... :P

Does anything happen to the bottom 3 teams at the end of each season, like Relegation or even Elimination; this game is "the real deal", of course...?

Last week I had a higher total than anyone.

And I'm still in a godawful position.

Ahahrar.

The SR Champion is now on top and 3 points clear.

Time to get rid of Baros and go further in front.

Each time I try to crawl away from the bottom five in our league, I always end up losing a chunk of my points, anyway, on "sure fire" transfers to keep me well-away from that dreaded place, permanently! :P

In general though, I think this has been quite a bizzare season for Fantasy Football in general. The players you'd expect to perform, and the teams they represent... There's no consistency anymore.

This is an interesting question I raised recently:

If you were to pick TWO strikers for your team who would score the goals and get you points for the best part of a full season, who would you choose?

Now, you see, this isn't as easy as you might think...
I mean, when was the last time Thierry Henry scored more than once in a fortnight?
What about Milan Baros at Liverpool? He's done well so far, but how will the team cope without both Steven Gerard and now back-up engine, Djibril Cissé, while Harry Kewell persists to dissapoint?
Even Wayne Rooney's failing to live up to the incredible hype that's surrounded his £30m move to Old Trafford - or, are we just seeing the TRUE player himself, at nineteen-years-of-age?

If Yakubu was more consistant, he'd be a definite shoe-in!
Shearer's there abouts; Kluivert's only bits-and-pieces....

I guess, then, we're stuck with Marcus Bent! :S

I'm having a decent start to the season - Id like to see how that changes over the season, though.
