I had one of my best and worst WoW experiences this evening.

Best: joined a group of 5 and went psycho in an all elite ogre camp in Loch Modan. Never realised the true power of a rogue until now. Group struggling against a few guys while I'm standing stealthed and humming: I sneak up behind one, ambush, backstab - both criticals, he dies. Stealth again, repeat. Awesome fun. I just got Vanish too, which lets me disappear in a puff of smoke mid-combat, and poisons, which is self explanatory. I completed 3 elite quests in 15 minutes or so.

Worst: I decided to jump off that huge dam in Loch Modan to see what would happen. You die. And then you resurrect in the Wetlands but the only way to get to your body is going back to Loch Modan through all the mountain tunnels. This takes ages. I then had to continue jumping down lethal heights to get back to the Wetlands, dying each time and running all the way back again. Long story short: NEVER EVER JUMP OFF THAT DAM.

Could someone explain how the whole server idea works?

It's like a unwritten law, you cannot kill a jumpy dancy guy.

I was standing on my own near the entrance to Westfall, where out of nowhere loads and loads of hoard appear and start running at me, only to stop, kill the two people by the cart, then stop in front of me and glare at me.

I stand there, and glare back, and of course, start to dance.

They then ignore me, and the whole lot of them run past me either side, killing more as they go.

This game is so great.

Oh! And I found a pirate ship wreck off the coast!

Sent the armour by mail, Goatboy. I realised after that I sent it to 'Goatboy' because I don't know what your elf is called, but I think you can mail stuff to your other characters.

Edit: now I realise you are called Elfy.

Yeah but might as well be a geek with the best MMORPG out there.

I can't beleive I spent 3 hours of my Saturday night on WoW.

What?!? I have to go about normal life things today like taking the girlfriend out during the day and going to dinner to celebrate my sisters birthday in the evening?!?

I'm sure having a camp fire on a frozen lake is a bad idea.

Maybe I should get this game, then I can do a Jobe out of Lawnmower man and disappear into the computer.

Is it possible to lure younger players into your gingerbread house?
