I think you should then. I reckon it's possible to do it without dying - you just need to land in the water. I landed in the water once and I was alright. The first jump I kind of slipped because I was too busy manouevering myself onto one of those spiiting dwarf heads so that I could be Harrison Ford in The Fugitive. Then another time I forgot to jump and cracked my head off some dwarven architecture. And the last one I sort of survived but then got eaten by a crocodile.

Essentially I spent 45 minutes being a mong. But if I hadn't done it I would always have wondered what it was like. And I did get to see some bits of the world that not many other people have seen.

It's HOOGE.

I actually couldn't be bothered to find another way down, so I decided to cheat.

Cheaters have their bodies crushed. :(
