Look lets be fair here, what Alistair does with his money is not anyone elses business. I probably wouldn't spend as much on frequent upgrades for my computer, but then it doesn't mean as much to me. I'd rather spend it on a new car.

As for the VAT thing, if his brothers VAT registered company is anything remotely to do with IT or computers then he'll legally get the VAT back on it. That way he can choose to sell it below RRP to Alistair. Nobody complains when Play.com fiddles the tax system now do they?

For a 17 year old he is doing not badly for himself. And it does seem like some of you are jealous of that. He's probably better off than I was at 17.

Sure he's not perfect, he can be very blinkered at times and rub people up the wrong way, but why bother having a go at him? We don't really need more fights on here.

You are really funny - like a younger, more conceited version of Alan Partridge. For someone who doesn't care what people think of him you spend an awful lot of time trying to convince them (or yourself?) that you're great. Also, I'm not quite sure why you seem to measure quality of life by your material possessions. And boasting about your *disposable* income sounds a bit silly when you are a 17 year old living with his mum.
