"Shrek 2"

I was very impressed with the movie as a whole. The animation and detail were indeed exquisite, and the gags at some points made me laugh so hard I couldn't hear the next gag. I loved the new character 'Puss in Boots' (I think is his name). The 'COPS' rip-off scene was over the top, and him being busted with catnip had me crying almost. I did have some problems with the movie, though.

Some of the humor seemed a tad inappropriate for pre-teens in my opinion. The biggest one being the discovery that Pinocchio was wearing a woman's thong. I would think they could come up with something a little more tasteful to make Pinocchio lie. But besides this minor grievance, I would still recommend it as a family movie, as there are many gags that the kids can get, and many only the parents will.

Despite its obvious excellence, I felt slightly underwhelmed.
Ah well.

There were some good film parodies in there too, particularly Alien and Mission Impossible, and a few more that i cant remember :p apparently there was a Pretty Woman pi$$-take in there aswell but i didnt notice it. probably because i havent actually seen pretty woman, but never mind!

Shrek 2 is great.. Donkey is pure class.. And Puss in boots is great.. however best part had to be when pinocchi was wearing his thong,, and got a wedgie.. Purile humour i know but still

the cat made it alot funnier with Antonio Banderas spanish voice..
