Who would of thought it, eh? It's been going around industry circles for weeks, but finally the fact has leaked that the next generation console war may begin as early as Q4 2005 - and not just in America. Apparently Microsoft UK are planning a winter launch extravanganza for the Xbox 2 only weeks after the US launch.

However, some are criticising the move and claim it's forcing this generation of consoles to end too quickly, and that the current crop have plenty left to achieve. Saying this, the Xbox first party schedule has seemingly 'dried up' and, along with shortages of the console, one wonders why they are trying to push Xenon so hard for 05'.

I've adapted this from http://gamesindustry.biz/, which has the whole article.

I wonder whether this will force the other 'big 2' into an early 06 launch, if not Q4 05?

Actually that's ironic because...

Not likely seeming as the guy's your father who's been trying to contact you through a series of barks and clicks for over a year now - he just wants to be your Maccy D's deputy..

And you say he's after school kiddys? Once again that 'Father like Son' comment you made would seem to have backfired.

As I said 'keep it in the family' huh? Or at least move to the deep south of the USA, you can have a family reunion jerk-off over the resolution of GT4.

You know what they say, 'like Father like Son'.

Although scouting the local nursery doesn't really qualify as limp prey.

Just to confirm I have seen this person hanging around, didn't want to mix it up with your in-bred twin.

Yes he needs something to drug your mum with. He likes them a bit limp.

Wouldn't say your mum was 'the best' though.

Oh sorry, your mum told me not to mention the word 'limp' to you, sorry about the upsurge of bad memories it brings. Take a couple of viagra and settle down to your *cough* 'movies'.

Yeah, Sky + box is full and there are quite a few stuff I want to record tomorrow night. Off to watch a couple of films to clear it down.

No your mum always gives it freely to me. Thanks for the tip though I doubt I'll have to use it, though any experience you have is no doubt been practiced for many years on little boys. And tell her to stop hiding in my cellar she has to face the fact that you are infact her son and running away isn't going to change that.
