Don't worry, not a long post about my day, but this was a good chase.
He had a 3-minute head start and I still got the bashtard. He is known to us and known to carry knives. A female officer drove past him and he legged it on seeing her car. She radioed that it may be worth a mobile with a man on in it to go to the location, see if they can find him and search him.
We went and on arrival he was there, but he legged it again. I asked the lass he was with where he had gone, but all she said involved a lot of kittening. I went round the corner and my colleague searched up some stairs while I asked another old bloke if he'd seen him. He had and pointed me in the right direction. I went round another corner and saw him running away about 200m up the road.
I gave chase.
After about 230m I caught him...it is at this point I will mention he's 60.
I searched him and found some cannabis, which was confiscated.
End.
Oh, I also had some irate bloke strip naked in front of me having been stopped for a traffic offence.
Real end. that did say "real" and not "rear"
