I was upstairs on the computer when the postman knocked at the door so I ran downstairs to collect my uni prospectus's but jumped the last few stairs, cracked my head on the ceiling and collapsed onto the floor. I awoke a few seconds later with a huge bloody lump on the top of my head, blood on the ceiling and the inability to see properly with my right eye.

and I have a lesson in half an hour.

Ouch.

I've cracked my head open on the corner of dae do (sp?) rail before. Was rather painful. I head to have it glued back together. I have a brick/slate hit me on the head. Luckily it only fell from a one story building and nothing hire. But the worst I've had, is falling off a ladder, breaking my wrist when trying to support my fall, trapping my ankle in between the ladder as it snapped shut, however even though they were painful, I could barely feel them because at the same time, my head went through next doors fence.

Erm, all babies have a hole in the top of their skull that slowly heals over.

While we're on the depressing topic of head injuries... i was born with a hole in my skull, which eventually fixed itself. And then at the age of about 3, my twin brother put my head thro' the TV, resulting in me breaking his collar-bone a few weeks later....

You could have done worse- this guy at my school has a massive scar on his head from where he smashed his head through a sheet of glass when he was younger. It looks like his head has two tiers, because the scar is the result of an operation to get his head to a normal (ish) shape.

Even if it does feel better, you should still go. I hit my head once, I wont bore you with the details, but I was as sick as a dog the day after, and it was due to the bang on the noggin.

Yea, go to the doctors, especially when it's a head injury.
