Rather than clogging up the forum with dozens of threads about rumours of people coming to Chelsea, I thought I'd try and get it all put in here.

Let's face it, every player with 4 limbs (or even 3 as Stu says) is going to be linked with Chelsea....

However I know that half of you will want to just s**g Chelsea off, as you do, so you may do htis in here as well, and Ashley and I (well volunteered Ashley :) ) will try and argue whatever you have to say.

Then there will also be the spammers who like to tell everyone about every transfer, even though everyone already knew about it 2 days ago.... Not mentioning any names of course, I'll let them stay anonymous.....

These are the two teams i'd contemplate for the opening match:

Surely you've got to play Makelele or Smertin? You need a defensive midfielder, oui?

Glad to see we're agreed that The Mighty Joe Cole being relegated to the bench was the crime of last season, along with Heskey being played at all.

What does it matter whether they sign, you haven't got either of them in there.... :P

Cudicini - Johnson, Gallas, Terry, Bridge - Robben, Lampard, Cole, Duff, - Gudjohnsen, Drogba/Kezza.

Chelsea boys, just like to propose my personal best Chelsea team (4-5-1):

Cech - Ferriera, Gallas, Terry, Bridge - Makelele, Duff, Lampard, Cole, Robben - Gudjohnson

But it'd probably be a 4-4-2, so you'd drop Robben from the midfield to make way for the other striker. That team's presuming Tiago and Drobga join.
