Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Cerci is a beast.

Might have to start playing FM again... Can't resist. However 2006 is out soon - so might shell out on that in a bit - or wait until 2007. Ah well.

EDIT: By the way, http://www.sigames.com/softography.php?type=view&id=20 Release Date 4th November 2005 on Dual (PC and Mac). Awesome.

Check out the new features too - can't wait for 1-1 player talks, and half-time chats. Sounds so good!

Starting to purchase some u19 players now so can have my own little wonderkids in a few years time, picked up Mario Felguieras, Fabio Paim, Francois Kompany, Van Der Borre and Walax so far to go along with Adu when he arrives. Hoping i can loan them out to Q.P.R and get them some experience already while also helping my Q.P.R team out

Yay just won my first big game of the season with United against Arsenal. 1-0 down with 75 minutes gone, so i bring Cerci on making it 3 strikers along with Ruud and Rooney. 80th minute i get a penalty which he knocks in and then in the 90th i hit them on the counter-attack with Cerci breaking clear and slotting home to make it 2-1. Happy days :-D

Sadly though my Q.P.R got sucker punched by Wolves after a boring game with only 3 shots on target until Kenny Miller showed up in the 92nd minute and knocked in the winner for them. Prats. Still 3rd though after 8 games, not bad considering i'm meant to be relegation fodder

Damn that Hatem Ben Arfa!

He's probably the best player in my Liverpool team, only slightly less expensive than Steven Gerrard anyway. And he's not as injury-prone.

I've had him for three seasons now, and there's still not a defender out there who seems capable of actually tackling him!

If only he could cross a little better...

If only he didn't demand a new contract every other season!!

I try to keep a very tight, very low wage structure at New Anfield. Although I'm one of the top 2 teams, I have one of the lower wage totals in the league, thanks to people like Kewell and Cissé accepting uncalled-for wage deductions. ;)

Ah, well. As he cross the 30 mark in age, at least James Beattie is showing the kind of form again that made him the asset he was back in his debut, Champions' League-winning season.

Well the furthest i've got into the game is about 3 years when i played it last time and in that both he, Rossi and Pique were pushing for places in the team so i'm going to stick with him and see what happens and if not then i'll just do some moving around.

Is Richardson actually good, or are you just putting him in there for sympathy?

Otherwise, try:

Ronaldo - De Rossi - Schweinsteiger
Mascherano

or

De Rossi - Schweinsteiger - Ronaldo
Mascherano

Can't remember if De Rossi's good out left
