Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Aye, Tim Weise is good, but old and a bit expensive.

Whereas Michael Rensing (B. Munich) is 3 years younger and signs for 700K at the start. (And is one of those players that perform so much better than their stats suggest.)

You're playing as Arsenal.

That removes half the fun.

Haha...they might aswell give me the Prem right now: http://img331.imageshack.us/img331/8739/untitled3bl.jpg

I really reccomend Tim Wiese, he's an absolutely class goalkeeper, probably the best on the game.

I think Bierofka is 25 at the start of the game so you'll get some good years out of him

Thumped Newcastle 6-0 after Keegan gave me a bit of verbal before the game and signed Big Sam Allardyce as a coach after he was fired. Happy days

Thats the one, Bierofka. He should be retired, im sure he's quite young.

Well, he must be because his value shoots up on my game when you buy him young.

Bierofka

I tried signing Naldo at start of my game but because of the stupid update he was already at Werder Bremen or some club and valued at 7.25 million.

Naldo looks like a bargain, but can't find the other bloke. Could he have retired? I'm 2007/8 season (july)

Ok, sorted the wages thing.

In the second season and I've signed Ronaldo for £19.75m and made an offer worth £47m for the buck-toothed bloke.

Find that I'm drawing a lot of my games though.
