Is dangerously addictive, almost impossibly deep, and is a truly marvellous management spectacle.

It is also frustrating beyond words, often truly ridiculous and is a cause of premature mental instability.

I love Football Manager '05

Not going out tonight so will most probably be the biggest loser in the world and play this all night.

Well at least until I finish the season.

I'm Liverpool. I got a really nice draw in the first stage of the CL. My hardest team is Leverkausen, who I beat 3-2 away.

Prem is really tight so far. 8 games in and I'm third. The top 6 teams are sepperated by 3 points.

When he signed he just said he was looking forward to playing for such an illustrious club (yea i'm Man United). I just exploited the unprotected contract thing and got him for 975k knowing he'll be worth a ton more in a few years and also become one of the best players in the game highlighted by him scoring 2 goals in his first start in the semi finals of the Club World Championship. On 400 quid a week

Quite surprised when his work permit came through though as in previous games i still hadn't got him after about 50 attempts.

I really want him tho, just as back-up incase I desperately need funds in the future, because i've heard after about 4-5 seasons he's worldclass and is worth loads.

Oh-oh...Milan in the CL Semis. :(

Argh, there was this excellent world class player that announced he'd be leaving his club at the end of the season, but now I cant remember who it was. >:(

Could've got him for free aswell. Hopefully it'll let me know when he leaves the club at the end of the season.

Im in April right now and have already won the Premiership even tho the season hasn't finished, currently 30 games played, 26 won and 4 drawn.

I had the same problem, I suppose giving him time is the only thing.

Big signing on fee's usually help.

Ronaldo isn't settling into the area at the moment, he's "content" to stay, but he's not too happy.

Ronaldhino (sp?) is on his way for £45.5m in 2 months too!

I really want to get Adu, but he doesn't want to join my team for some stupid reason, he wants to develop his future at his current club.

Is there anyway I can get him to join my team?

Got Sporting in the First Knockout Stage, quite happy with that. Ronny can go back and haunt his old team :-D Inter got Juventus so dodged a bullet there, good job i beat them in the last group game

Won the Club World Championship as well beating Cruzeiro 1-0 with a Ruud 89th minute strike. Pretty experimental team with half of my U18's playing with some of the first team. Lauteri, Adu, Paim and Simoncini all impressed. Looks like the future's bright at Old Trafford (even though the average age of my first team squad is only about 23 anyway :-D)

Albelda's the best in the game technically, but not such a physical demon.
