Manchester has a population of 422,300. Man Utd have a worldwide fanbase of 53million (according to them).

Lets say just for arguments sake that everyone living in Manchester supports united (altho we all know its more like 30-40 %)

So 422,300 people as a percentage of 53million is 0.79%

So that means that 99.21% of Manchester United Fans live outside of Manchester.

I thought about that possibility but I ruled it out as I was under the impression that you can't buy a fan. Well you can buy those but not supporters. :P

He was answering his own question.

He was asking about Chelsea's fans, as he did about Man Utd's in the first place, and then stated how they bought all theirs....

This is almost the stupidest comment ever.. WE have LOADS of supporters nowadays just that our stadium with it's current capacity doesn't allow many supporters to get tickets for our games that's why we're building a new stadium.
