Lets say just for arguments sake that everyone living in Manchester supports united (altho we all know its more like 30-40 %)
So 422,300 people as a percentage of 53million is 0.79%
So that means that 99.21% of Manchester United Fans live outside of Manchester.

This is almost the stupidest comment ever.. WE have LOADS of supporters nowadays just that our stadium with it's current capacity doesn't allow many supporters to get tickets for our games that's why we're building a new stadium.
