Some sneaky beggar has devised a way of distributing a virus FROM websites - and somehow it's got on some important banking and retail sites! All you have to do is actually browse the website, and it can get at your PC. So a World-wide warning has been issued not to use Internet Explorer until it's patched, because it's apparently getting everywhere. Although no-one has actually said what websites have been affect yet, so that's why I'm shouting out to see if anyone knows?

hehe, you've a LOOOOONG way to go before you have game quality work dude...
don't get me wrong, yer first project was good, but it was basically a static model and a moving camera. game models require skeletons, rigging, IK tweaks, UVW unwrapping for better textures... the list goes on and on..

.. and on.

you'll get there though mate, you seem to learn pretty fast.. just not yet :)

thought so :)

it's certainly an interesting point from a commercial standpoint (ie, that of Norton), but for Mozilla inc, it'd be largely pointless as mozilla/firefoz/thunderbird are all free and open source so they have nothing to gain. As good as those browsers are they'll still never come close to replacing IE in terms of user base though, simply as IE is right there when you install windows.

i think i read that there were plans to have IE come with an uninstaller or simply NOT install with windows if the user so desired... to keep it equal opportunities.
personally i'm glad i have IE when i reinstall windows, it's only a few clicks over to mozilla.org, certainly more convinient that a load of cd's a mile high :)

Well, id be serious enough if I can find the right people. I know it takes alot to make a game and id be focused on the graphics side of things since I can model and animate in 3D, and 2D graphics are easy.

I tried to add you to MSN a while ago, but I assume you never go on it.

Erm, im thinking GP32 has prospects for a bit of earnings whilst supporting the community.

Maybe you could read up on it a bit - http://www.gp32x.com

Let me know what you think.

That's like my theory on dentists - they tell you that you need fillings, to get money and stuff.

Slightly different, vut same principle.

Not really a games programmer, but always interested in learning new coding skills. Unfortunately, I've got a lot of paid web design work coming up, so that takes priority. It's for a proper design company and everything! One area I would be interested in (if you are actually serious about making games, and actually do it, and aren't 14) is making game music and sound effects - maybe a bit of audio coding too. That's what I'm doing with my degree, so I suppose everyone has to start somewhere. So, yeah, if you need some tiny litle polyphonic tunes for the GP32, give me a shout on here, and I'll think about it.

P.S. Not sure if you know this, but it's probably best to discuss this sort of thing in the techie forum - less f**ktards.

Was wondering if youd be interested in coding for GP32.

Also, if I provided the 3D stuff, if you could use it in code to make simple games.
