"Guess the sketch."

Ok, here's a little idea to keep everyone bust 'til E3. Let's have a game of "Guess the sketch".

Some one post a sentence or a short paragraph from a sketch from the TV or a film or whatever, and everyone else has to guess where it came from.

Here's a nice easy one to start:

"So I curtailed my Walpoling activites, sallied forth and infiltrated this place of purveyance, no negotiate the vending of some cheesy comestibles."

Not too difficult, not for some of the older posters anyway....

Shanks (I think it was) you were correct. Mine was from the classic Cheese Shop sketch, again by Monty Python.

Ok, try these (again from same place)

All the guesses are right, apart from for number 1, but I've told you about that. As you've got all of mine (bar one) I'll have to try harder

Number 6 is still standing, which I will list again here with some new ones. There are some TV and some film quotes here. The original number 6 is now number 1 here.

Ahh....that's the one. I had a feeling that it was someone asociating with gangsters, and that Travolta was in it (made me think of pulp fiction) , and also something about a good guy undercover (made me think of reservoir dogs). Hence I came up with those two wrong answers. ;)

Ah well... I can sleep easy now. Not yet obviously though, it's only 2pm - I meant later.
