Okay? Not too restictive, I hope.
I feel like a really crap teacher up here - but you must obey!

Wonderfully innocent but haunting piece, simple style hiding something more complex. A great read.

Fantastic atmosphere and descriptions, stuck in the mind, tugged at the soul.

Bloody fantastic descriptions (some of the best) at start and end. Slightly lagging in the middle, but a well-deserved win for an epic story.
Special Mentions:
Every single other person who entered..
I was very impressed at the quality of entires (*snigger*) - there's not a single story I wouldn't read again. Tough judging.

I've seen it, yes.
I'm putting them all into 1 document to read in a decent font, at a decent time - probably tomorrow, I've got some time off.
'Till then, then ...
Feel free to enter again.
A bit longer next time.
Sorry, sorry, I'll stop now.
You're entry was a bit hard to get my head around
The ending was a bit of an anti-climax
*shame*
Sorry, better rephrase that, have you seen my story?

Same, same - happens with most stuff. Rather fun, all in all.
...
Yes.
Now!

You are similar to me.
Often I have a vauge idea and then blurt it out.
What is this? Some kind of competition?
I got half way through a story, realised that it was already over 2000 words and that I probably wouldn't finish it by the due date, so I stopped.
The resulting story I've entered was something that just popped into my head that evening and I still don't know whether I like it or not (which is a great thing to admit considering it's an entry for a competition).
The other story will probably make it to this website sometime, I just need to polish it up and see to the small task of writing the other half of it. I'm pretty excited about finding out how it finishes to be honest.
Better topic than the whole 'Mask' thing
