Got GM:TV on in the background, and they were talking to 3 English fans in Lisbon.

"There's been no trouble yet - are you surprised at all?"
"No, not at all, we've got the best fans in the world..."

And he rambled on about how the fans are so peaceful and brilliant.

Depends on how you define the best in the world.

If you interpret it in terms of numbers, then yeah, you only have to look at last night to see we wipe the floor with everybody else. (Ommmg arogant).

Though i suspect you're going a bit overkill now. Considering we only have to get 4 points from the next two games and could even get through with 3 providing France win both their remaining games, you could dig yourself into a hole.....

Hehe, it probably has something to do with us only making the finals of a major comp every once in a while so we have to make the most of it when we do!

The way I see it is, if any so called fan starts a fight, they aren't fans, they are trouble makers. Fans support their team through thick and thin with their songs, not with their fists.

Meh, who cares, the tartan army are regarded as one of the best set (SET?) of fans in the world, that's all that matters to me.

And maybe one dya we'll plahy in a competition, so the fans can show us that, again.

Strange, LB goes on about how utterly pants Spurs are yet how all the fans still turn out, yet in another thread, very close to that one, pleads that Stephen Carr is worth about £12mil.

P.S Ashman, for some reason when I open that thread, it said you made the original post....

Indeed, he drew up the most entensive agruements such as "We pay out money every week despite playing crap etc."

I hated to inform him that most people do this, and often at a much lower level than the Premiership. Spurs will always have promise.
