I have joined.

I applied a few weeks ago and my application was discussed at the meeting of my local freemason lodge on Friday night (ie last night) and I was accepted!

YEY!

Also I have J Nash to thank for this, because it was he who introduced me to the freemasons and encouraged me to join (he is also a member).

YEY!

I am so pleased.

yeah I know a guy who is in the freemasons; I may just ask him. Thought would they let a student in or do you have to be considered important; or is that just myth?

I am a judge.

Anyway, yes, there's bound to be someone in your town who is a freemason (there's no big secrecy about membership), just ask them and all will become clear.

Indeed.
You're always one to dismiss extremeists of your own religion as a minority, yet judge other groups purely on theirs.

For shame, FF.

Oh please, pack it in. It's starting to get annoying now.

Can you open your mind just this much and go to their website and see proof that they aren't a satanic group?

How would I go about joining?

I thought you had to have some sort of "position of influence", such as being a judge or a something "important"

It's more the fact that you tried to argue against me after you had edited the link that shows your idiocy.
