I've just bought Vol 3 subliminal verses by Slipknot, and I advise ANYONE who likes metal/hard rock, to buy it. It's one of the best albums I've ever heard.

Not a bad list, but a lot of those aren't metal at all! Hendrix wasnt, and Led Zep definitely wernt. Neither were Guns N Roses really. In fact, most of that list is more rock than metal. But im just being picky now.

I pretty much agree with that list, having heard a few of the albums. However the lack of Black Sabbath is quite concerning, seeing as they invented heavy metal.

Also, I would replace Screaming For Vengeance with Stained Class- If you've ever hear it, you will see why.

Replace POM with SSOASS and Holy Diver with Bruce Dickinson's Accident of Birth and you're pretty close to what I'd say.

I agree with him being one of the best ever, i used to be crazy about his music, less so in recent years though. But i dont think he'd count as 'hard rock', and definitely not 'metal'. More kinda 'blues rock', stuff like Voodoo Chile and Purple Haze was very bluesy. Thats where id probably put Hendrix, Blues Rock.

Alright you've convinced me, I'm going to download it.

I read an interview with some dude from Slipknot and seeing as he mentioned Morbid Angel and Randy Rhoads he sounds like an alright chap to me. Even if he does wear a mask. But I think calling it the best metal album ever is pushing it.
This is eMule we're talking about though so give me a few weeks.
