"Xbox vs. PS2"

Overall the PS2 is better reasons why:

1. There is a much wider selection of games.
2. You dont need to pay an annual online subscription.
3. It has sold more units worldwide, making it more popular.
4. San Andreas came as exclusive to the PS2.
5. The PS2 mags are better,especially OPS2 magazine. (To bad that Rich is going away).
6. The new slimline PS2 looks a lot better than a clunky Xbox.
7. The PS2 will have a handheld buddy soon, the Xbox wont.
8. Its cheaper than an Xbox if you look around.

Those are the reasons. I hope that it will encourage more people to buy the great,excellent,brilliancy that is a PS2.

Ps2 is much better.

It has loads more games than xbox, most games that come out on it also come out on PS2 as well. where as games on ps2 (such as killzone) dont come out on the xbox.

The xbox is big and chunky where as the ps2 is slim.

The ps2 contolers fit right into your hand and the xbox controllers you have to stretch to reatch the buttons

You could say exactly the same thing about giving money to Sony or Nintendo, or anyone for that matter.

That is a bit stupid, you don't want to buy a console just because you think Bill Gates will get your money?

Buying an Xbox harms Bill Gates bank balance. Microsoft lose money on every console sold as it costs more to make them than to sell them, at least at trade prices. The reason for the existence of the Xbox was merely to stop Sony getting a stranglehold on games and home entertainment. Since pretty much every company that Microsoft competes with is just as unethical, then it all comes down to the consumer to decide which scum to buy from.

I have both, but prefer my Xbox because I prefer the games on it. And at the end of the day, when it comes to video games, the best games dictate the best console.

It's too late in the day for this arguement, both will be dead within 18 months.
I know this, the last year as a Playstation owner nearly killed off my interest in games but i will never EVER buy a microsoft console, Bill Gates has got quite enough money and i don't want them to dominate consoles like they do the PC market.
