"Xbox vs. PS2"

Overall the PS2 is better reasons why:

1. There is a much wider selection of games.
2. You dont need to pay an annual online subscription.
3. It has sold more units worldwide, making it more popular.
4. San Andreas came as exclusive to the PS2.
5. The PS2 mags are better,especially OPS2 magazine. (To bad that Rich is going away).
6. The new slimline PS2 looks a lot better than a clunky Xbox.
7. The PS2 will have a handheld buddy soon, the Xbox wont.
8. Its cheaper than an Xbox if you look around.

Those are the reasons. I hope that it will encourage more people to buy the great,excellent,brilliancy that is a PS2.

And the average quality is much lower, most have decent clones on the Xbox

and the PS2 online play suffers because of this.

And? No doubt Indepedence Day has sold more copies than The Shawshank Redemption, doesn't make it a better film.

Erm, Xbox'll have it by the summer no doubt with better bits and custom soundtracks.

It's a matter of taste. Personally I found a lot of them used to be very misleading with a new game being praised as 'the PlayStation's Goldeneye' far too much, besdies the fact that none equalled or bettered Rare's game.

Wow! This pink piece of **** looks much better than that greasy hamburger, let's eat the **** then.

The Xbox sequel will no doubt be able to interact with your PC so you can do things like swap saves/MP3's etc.

Wow, I'm SOLD.

I like some of the exclusive games to the PS2 especially the RPG's such as final fantasy's
but as for graphics and quality of the console Xbox is much better and handheld PS2? so? if u would really walk around the streets playing a hand held PS2 then u r crazy

Chr1s, Afro's being a crazy post-presentation militant here ;-P, but he is right. Quoting big chunks for one liners kind of get's people's goat a bit. We've seen a lot worse (5000 word essays have indeed been quoted and followed up with "i cudnt b bthrd 2 reed all dat!" - why it's driven some people to crazy militant status!) but you'd still do better to take note than to try and stand your ground.
