I am looking at either the Motorola V600, or the Samsung D410. Which should I go for?
The Motorola is small I think, with a 65k screen, and i've used and like the 525, which is quite similar.
The D410 has a 260k colour screen, so obviously has the best screen, but looks a bit bulky and there is not much protecton on the screen, etc.
What should i go for?
All the info to join is there. You just need the IMEI number of your phone (press *#06# to get it)
The tools on here allow you to flash and flex your phone.
Flashing rewrites the phones bios. My menus and browser on my v300 are much faster, I have video playback, and the battery lasts three times as long. Oh, The camera is far better wuality due to far more advanced jpg compression routines in the latest flash.
Flexing will allow you to remove any branding (o2 startup / shutdown gfx, locked opions etc)
determined to get some new free ringtones though

Yeah, it gets hit by some massive bandwidth. Downloading an 8MB flash file on a T3 line gets an 8k a second transfer. If all you're after is free ringtones, try http://wap.rousso.net/
The Godfather - terrible
Airwolf - Good but not loud enough
Break Ya neck (Busta Rhymes) - Mediocre
at 4 quid a throw it's no joke - you could buy the real single for that.
