So what's this installment like then? I liked MGS on the PS1 but I thought Fight for Liberty was pants, so is this one any better?

Im stuck on "The Sorrow" keeps on killing me when I get to the end of the river, damn infuriating as I then have to walk up the river again and again and again...

Yeah, I did that, but I want to actually beat him, or I kinda feel as though I'm cheating.

I'm gonna give him another go after dinner.

Oh I also think that you wake up in prison unless you are in a diferent area from him. So just go through areas until his life bar disappears.

Don't own the game but from experience with MGS1 sniper battles...you don't have a Nikita do you?

Reefer you may think this sounds stupid but do it anyway. Get to "The End" battle and save. Then set your ps2 clock to 1 month from now. Go back in and load the game. The End should now be dead from old age.

Yeah, that's what I was doing. I spent like over two hours trying to beat him, so I've called it a night.
