OK, firstly, I have a wireless modem/router thang on my main PC. Would a Mac be compatible with the wireless part of it or would I need a Mac-optimised modem?

Secondly, if, say for example, I have Unreal Tournament 2004 on both PC and Mac, would they be able to play each other in Multiplayer, or do Macs need to connect to different servers?

Finally, I wouldn't be able to use my iPod on my Mac without reformatting it from PC, would I? I have a lot of tunes on there that I'd rather not lose but I've heard if I wanted to use it on a Mac, it'd need reformatting.

Thank yoo.

If you have your songs on PC still, just send them accross to your Mac, reformat iPod on the Mac and let iTunes copy the music accross. If you don't have the songs on your PC, get Ephpod (search google) and copy the songs from your iPod to your PC.

You can choose to have a wireless Airport adapter installed, and this is compatable with wireless networks, so yeah, that's not a problem. PC's and Macs have been networked together for years, so I don't see why you'd need to connect to different servers.
