OK, firstly, I have a wireless modem/router thang on my main PC. Would a Mac be compatible with the wireless part of it or would I need a Mac-optimised modem?

Secondly, if, say for example, I have Unreal Tournament 2004 on both PC and Mac, would they be able to play each other in Multiplayer, or do Macs need to connect to different servers?

Finally, I wouldn't be able to use my iPod on my Mac without reformatting it from PC, would I? I have a lot of tunes on there that I'd rather not lose but I've heard if I wanted to use it on a Mac, it'd need reformatting.

Thank yoo.

It's not a problem, as I'm keeping my Dell Desktop anyway, it's my gaming PC with Windows. My iBook will be for Uni, homework, surfing the net downstairs/in bed etc etc.

Erm, I've no idea.

*goes to check*

They certainly seem to. http://www.apple.com/macosx/ took about 11 seconds in IE and about 7 in Safari.

Remember, though, that most Microsoft stuff is simply written to work in OS X and isn't as optimised as it might be under Windows. For example, the OS X version of MSN Messenger doesn't do half the stuff the Windows version can, like view pictures or webcams. The exception to this is Office - generally it's better on the Mac.

Well, the layout of my site is down to CSS which I learnt by doing what you did: reading loads.

I should also point out that it's been through many, many design changes to get to what it is now, and I'm always tweaking it.

*tweaks*

See?

Well, the iPod stuff comes from owning one for around a year.

The rest of the stuff comes from the Apple website.

Timmargh did, however, tell me that he made his website on his own, which was impressive as I thought he used .Mac.

So, erm, yeah! :D

I dunno, Chipseh asks me a few questions and suddenly he's an expert!

:^)

Seriously, though, he said it all.

I doubt you'd have any trouble doing any of those three things.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
