0-1

Looks like being a brilliantly open, attacking game tonight. not too far away either. I can't really see the 2 teams being cagey, especially with deschamps and mourinho.

Nothing like last year. the teams may or may not lack pure class in your opinion, but they both know how to play football.

Predictions perhaps? i'll optimistically go for a 3-2 to porto.

News Flash:-

early news- line ups anounced. brazilian potential of carlos alberto chosen over benny mccarthy.

40 mins- carlos alberto scores with a brilliant volley.

hehe that's part two of stopping France winning all the important cups. Now all that's left is Euro 2004.

Well done Porto, now we can say we lost to the champs :-D (even though they shouldn't be there anyway but ah well :-P)

The most entertaining part of the whole evening was the post-match interview with Jose Mourinho.

Every single question was a differently dressed up version of 'Are you going to Chelsea?'.

Just looked at 2005 champions league odds on will hill.

Real Madrid are favourites. Which is just ridiculous considering the poor season they have had. Especially after thier new coach looks more like he should be in a pie eating contest.

Sorry - did you even read the post?
"...in that way", which quite blatantly means that the teams last year both also knew how to play football. So you ramble on incoherently about pride, which I already knew... considering I follow the Serie A... and support Juve... and know all about the Juve/AC rivalry...
Try actually reading posts next time, eh?

Monaco just seem to die in the second half, they could have at least tried?
