What is the best rpg series and can final fantasy beat them all
i gave it a good go, 20 hours+ but it didnt grab me like it did to other people.
Shenmue is great though.
Final Fantasy IS the ultimate series of RPGs, but could still be improved, how I don't know, voice acting would be an excellent addition.
For pure fun, Suikoden on the PSX is one of the most enjoyable RPGs I've ever played, it's just so cute and cuddly all the way through it makes you smile.
FF rpgs closest rival is the Grandia series. Grandia on the PSX was the FF player's stop gap between completing FF7 and awaiting the launch of FF8, but became a classic in it's own right because it was so original.
Grandia 2 on the DC is a huge overhaul of the PSX version, brand new characters and storyline in the mould of the FF series, but graphically wondrous to behold. And the voice acting and music blows you away.
So Grandia 2, with its fantastic battle system, comes very close to knocking Final Fantasy off the top of its RPG pedestal. Grandia 3, if it is ever produced, should be interesting...
Pokemon is the biggest selling game ever!!!!!!
Zelda won the greatest game ever TM
Shenmue speaks for itself
Expect alot more from all 3
Final fantasy is good but 9 of them!!!
Zelda has been around longer than Final fantasy and their is 6 of them (unless you count the links awakening upgrade DX then there is 7 but I don't count it)
