This topic is really for those at uni. Who's moved away and who hasn't? Whats your uni accomodation like?

What's Liverpool like as a town? I'm going to see Leicester this weekend, then Liverpool next month, also Leeds want me to go for an interview, do you think Liverpool wins hands down, or is it a bit 'common'?

I lived at my Uni for the first year, but then lived at home and took the train in from then on. It works out far cheaper living at home, plus I have other attachments. Most of my mates at Uni travel in too, so I doubt I'd sample the nightlife there, and I doubt I'd get as much work done.

Liverpool is great. I know it has a bad stereotype but it is honsetly one of the friendliest places ever. It obviously has bad point, but all big cities do. The nature of the local people is just so much better than anywhere else. There are areas that are 'common'but as a student you would be mainly staying in the city centre away from these areas. My cousin went to Leeds and ive been on holiday to Leicester and I would say Livepool beats both hands down.

The leicester accent is seriously annoying. THe liverpool one less so, but that's only after a few years of my flat mate watching coronation street.
