Is anyone else looking forward to this film? I am dying to see it, the 28th can't come fast enough, Im a huge fan of natural disaster films and have been looking forward to seeing this one since I first saw a trailer for it back in January. It's looking very promising, hopefully it will ive up to my expectations!

OK, from the extended trailer on Sky|One I'll mark you on your predictions!

It does.

Well, duh, obviously.

Wrong. It's a FOX newscaster.

Yes, because you'll run away while driving a car/taxi/bus! Anyway, it does happen so you get another mark there!

You see the water smashing against it but I don't know about afterwards, looks like it may have made it but I can see it falling over in the film.

The kissed. rofl, kiss!!11

Again, would it be a proper action movie if he didn't?

Oh, and if anyone remembers that scene in ID where the bloke's in the car, he looks in his rear view mirror and sees the fire just coming closer, well they've got EXACTLY the same scene (with water instead) in this film.

I swear all they done is to get got the clip, go into Windows movie maker, cut out all the fire and past water into it's place. It's exactly the same!

Aaahhhh, I laughed at this t'other day, particularly because every one I've seen so far has included this.

Well, I saw a clip for this film earlier, and it was a part where some seemingly scientific-type bloke was going, "Here's what I think we should do. *Blah, spout, blah*. I think we should also evacuate everyone south of this line", where he proceeds to draw a line right across the middle of a map of the grand ol' USA.

"That's insane, it'll never work", proclaims some macho general type person, who's obviously made out to not have a clue what he's on about.

Wonderful.

Interestingly enough, Global Warming is the one thing preventing the world from plunging into the next cyclic Ice Age - of which we are currently on the brink.

I'm definitely looking forward to this film. I went round my mates to see if he had it on copy and he hadn't. Had to make do with Football Factory instead which was good.

Ah, what a legend of a film.

Same type of idea as TDAT though:

You need to pay attention to global warming or you'll all die!
You need to fix the bad electric wire stuff or you'll all die!

Ah, so much dying.

Oh, but it isn't a natural disaster is it?

Poseidon Adventure might be classed as one, seeing how a tidal wave caused it...

I loved the original Poseidon Adventure, always wastched it when it was on at Christmas. A remake could never live up to the original in my opinion.
