Got it today, currently shocked. No swearing and two acoustic songs!!! This is meant to be Slipknot for f**k sake!!
The album is really growing one me now :) A couple of duff songs but overall it is pretty good.

I'm (nearly) 17 and I like Blink 182.
I know what you mean about growing out of stuff.
Back when I was about 14, I used to really like Blink-182 and stuff like that. Since then, I've gradually moved away from that kind of music and now I really detest it. Whether it was overkill by playing their records too much, or simply getting older and wiser, I've come to really hate them.
Unfortunately, my brother is 14, and appears to be experiencing the exact same taste in music. Sadly, this means I have to put up with listening to bands like Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Sum 41, and other such whiney annoying people who all sound the same and have never grown up. My ears hurt.

I guess I just don't like that style of music anymore. I, like you, used to really like it but then I started to broaden my horizons and began to listen to other kinds of music. I guess I prefer music that isn't quite as crazy now. I prefer bands like Placebo, RHCP, Linkin Park, Whitestripes, Papa Roach, Nirvana, The Datsuns, Feeder, The Offspring and other bands like that. Plus I've recently started to listen to hip-hop.
So it's not a matter of me not knowing what I'm talking about, because I do as I used to listen to Slipknot myself, however I'm just growing out of that kind of music now.
