I was driving down a 60 zone earlier, when for the side of the road I saw a daddy pheasant walk out followed by two babies followed by the mother. I thought they were like most birds and can fly off fairly easily, but as I got closer I noticed that all they did was just sort of scurry a little faster across the road. Dad made the other side, babies made it past the white line. . . bump. Mother didn’t.

Yea, you would think they would build something on a car to help you slow down and stop.

Maybe no one has thought of it yet.

That did worry me I'm ashamed to say.

Yeah, pheasants are a bit retarded, they can make a hefty dent in the bumper though.

I see pheasants pretty much most of the time on a stretch of the A1(M) i drive to uni.

They just strut along the road thinking they are invinsible...Saw about 5-6 killed in one trip.

I know. Maybe it wont be so bad. It could be like Finding Nemo for pheasants...
