After due consideration the term Notable has been defined as:

Somebody who has made a strong contribution to the success of the Future of Gaming Forum and helped to make it a special place.

The election of Notables is by the regulars to the forum, so being elected is to be "recognised", like an award.

Notables have zero pay, zero duties and no greater chance of winning Gameaday than anybody else. I hope they will help to ensure future high standards on this forum.

There will be one extra Notable elected every three months.

Hey, I me have been voted as a notable, but it doesn't make me any different from any of you guys on here!!

I'm not gonna go round saying, "Well I'm a notable, and you're not, so you have to listen to me."

If people do that, then it's worrying. But I don't think FM, Meka, Grix or even Sniper would do that either.

So to me, we are still no different from what we were before.

So, carry on the discussions!! (but in a friendly way {:)

Dear Tony & My FOG pals,

It seems that your 'Notables' descion has ruined the realtionship of the users of FOG.

I come here for a nice gaming chat and now all I see is hate and jealousy cause by the votes.

This has ruined the name of FOG.

I do not mind not being a Notable, I am quite happy sitting here talking with the people I love to talk to. But will that change in the future? Will people on FOG be able to talk the same as before?

I think a need of equal rights or a shake of hands is needed. I don't want an arguement continuing for the rest of my time in FOG!

This has split apart the regualars and formed a new group. One who will see themselves has higher then the rest. I thought regualars had something against newbies and now a new group has been formed.

I hope all goes well and the new Notables get along with everyone like they have in the past. I still think we should all remeber what we are here for and to talk in the same way as before forgetting our roles.
