The FIVE Notables are:

Fantasy Meister
Grix Thraves
Meka_Dragon
Sniper
Ant


After due consideration the term Notable has been defined as:

Somebody who has made a strong contribution to the success of the Future of Gaming Forum and helped to make it a special place.

The election of Notables is by the regulars to the forum, so being elected is to be "recognised", like an award.

Notables have zero pay, zero duties and no greater chance of winning Gameaday than anybody else. I hope they will help to ensure future high standards on this forum.

There will be one extra Notable elected every three months.

Zero is better than nothing...

Future voting for additional Notables will occur about once every three months. Only one additional Notable will be added every three months.

The system will be a straight forward election. One man, one vote. With a couple of provisions but nothing complex. The vote will be held over a period of several days so that everybody gets a chance to vote.

The pay is zero, but you can resign if you want.

And the pay is?

Unfortunately the person who set the rules (me) realised after the first 80 odd replies that it would be a mistake to have too many notables. So the vote was closed earlier than it would have been if the rules had been more carefully thought out.

The group of Regulars who have been most responsible for making the Future of Gaming Forum (FOG) such an interesting place are the "FOG Notables", voted for by the Regulars. One additional Notable may be elected every three months.

The FOG Notables are: Fantasy Meister, Grix Thraves, Meka_Dragon, Sniper and Ant.

If this was meant to be taken seriously why did most of the regulars not get to vote (me, FM, meka) and should it not let everyone vote then count how many votes!
