Not amazing ? This is the best game on PS2 so far. The ultimate graphics, the ultimate gameplay, the ultimate story, the ultimate characters, etc..
I finished it in 23 hours and 40 minutes while only using the "M19" pistol and the knife even when fighting bosses on the normal difficulty, and got "Shark" rank on my first time. Does anyone know what is the highest rank ? And is there a Big Boss rank ?

I got 19 hours on normal mode, my first time through. I got a Shark rating.
Haven't played it myself as I'm not into games that rely heavily on stealth. But two guys at work are big MGS fans, and they both said they were dissapointed.
So - how'd you all do? My end time was 13 hours, 11 minutes, and I had a Deer ranking. I killed only 87 people, which I'm pretty proud of.
Just about to start the last boss. Whooo!
Pretty annoyed at the fact you still can't move when you're crouched though, makes sneaking up on guards harder than it should be
It's phenomenal. I spent 2 hours replaying the same section in different ways and loved every second (note: the reason I kept replaying is cos I kept getting discovered, lol. The best one was when a guard stepped on me!)
